Mission

image43

Our Mission  is to bring hope to little feet, one pair of shoes at a time.

My Story

I am a wife, mother, and all around do-gooder! My passion in life is helping others, and rooting for the underdog. In a world where some of us are blessed beyond measure, I decided to slow down, take note and actually DO something that matters. I want to make a difference in this world. I want to make a difference to someone else. I want to show the beautiful children that we serve that there are good people in this world, who really love and care about them. I want to show them that there is something GOOD in this world, and that THAT something good, is Sole Loved. It starts right here. It starts with me. Our mission at Sole Loved is to bring hope to little feet, one pair of shoes at a time. That's right, NEW shoes. It really is that simple. To see the excitement in a child's eyes and tears of overwhelming joy when they receive, maybe for the first time, their new pair of shoes...well, that's when you know you've made a difference. It matters!! I'm so proud of this wonderful mission that I started, and hope that others will join us in making a difference too.  -Stacy Bourgeois, CEO/Founder

Making A Difference

Sports

image44

Got Cleats? Many children at low income schools and in underserved communities are unable to participate in sports because they don’t have the proper shoes. We gladly accept NEW and gently used football, soccer and baseball cleats, along with track shoes and basketball/court shoes!

Schools

image45

We work closely with teachers, nurses and school Social workers at Title 1 and low-income schools to make sure that EVERY child that needs a good and decent pair of shoes, has one. Since Jan 2019, we've provided over 2,000 pair of shoes to children from 11 local schools, across 4 districts!

Community

image46

1 out of every 6 children lives in poverty in the U.S., and more than 1/2 of the children growing up in Houston are considered economically disadvantaged. Most of these families are struggling just to get food on the table. We make shoes a priority because they can't.

Events

Shoe Drives

image47

We are so grateful to local schools and businesses for hosting shoes drives throughout the year! The outpouring of love and support is incredible each and every time. Thank you!

Partnerships

image48

We love partnering with other local community organizations to help bring shoes to local children and families in need. This past year, we've blessed over 2,500  individuals with new shoes!

The Homeless

image49

We have a special bond with our local homeless friends. Sole Loved actually began on the streets several years ago, bringing hope to those less fortunate, through the gift of a new pair of shoes.

Our Youth

image50

It's amazing to see what a new pair of shoes can do. The anticipation, excitement, hope and pure JOY that we see in a child's eyes when they find the perfect pair of shoes, just can't be beat. We love bringing hope to the beautiful children in our community.

Donations

image51

We have absolutely been blessed beyond measure this past year! Donations continue to pour in....many from out of state, from those of you we've never met. We want you to know that YOU are changing lives! YOU are making a difference!

Fundraisers

image52

We love helping you organize local fundraisers for Sole Loved! Please reach out to us if you have questions about getting started. Fundraisers should be stress-free, easy and lots of fun for everyone involved. Give us a call. We are here to help!
